radiator replacement ?'s

alright i have the 5.0 elan bird getting new radiator with the transmission lines when i reconnect them am i going to have to bleed the radiator.......or just put fluid in the trans lines in radiator plug them up then install?

The tranny lines should have tranny fluid or nothing......not antifreeze.

No I think he's concerned about what happens when the new radiator is in and the tranny fluid cooling "section" is completely dry of fluid. From doing mine not much fluid came out, and these trannies carry like 8-10 quarts of fluid so youd probably be fine, just check the fluid level after you run the car for maybe half a minute. What you could do though, is hook up the lower tranny line, and then perhaps get some plastic tubing, shove a funnel into one end, the other end into the upper hole on the radiator and fill it, then hook up the other line, if it makes you feel more comfortable.
