Thunderhawk, the end of chapter 1. November 02, 2007, 12:20:07 AM Since I've done a little spring cleaning on, and inside of Thunderhawk, in antition of my move west, I thought I'd show the last pics I took of it. Going to drop the transmission as soon as I get my soybeans cut and I get some free time, and pull the engine. I have taken the intake off, and there's been metal gouged out of the cam lobes, apparently the oil leaked out of the pan, and in my haste to get it home, I spun some bearings. Ended up having to drag it home after the fire...just fuel lines were burnt, and soot damage on the ext, it washed off.Anyway, in the next few days, going to pull the 3.8 and AOD, and clean up the bay good, and pull the wiring, in preparation of the HO install/conversion. Not sure if I ever posted the latest pics I have of the Tbird, so here's some. Beware, it's rough, though. When I put the TC rear bumper cover on, spring 06.Finally, all the TC lights installed.Even though it's filthy, and ratty, rusted and dents all over, it still turns MY head. Quote Selected
