i had to sell that intake due to being a broke ass. the 5.4 intake is the same price as the 4.6, though.

I dunno, your 4.6 sounds pretty good.

But you would have the only 5.4 'Bird ever...

By navi im guessing they mean navigator.

DO NOT BUY THE 5.4 FORM FORD. IT SUX MORE THAN ANYTHING. THEY HAD MORE PROBLEMS WITH THEM ALL of the V8 AND THE V10 FROM YEARS 97- I BELIEVE 03 THEY DID NOT PUT ENOUGH THREADS IN THE HEADS AND THEY BLOW THE PULGS RIGHT OUT OF THEM. IT HAPPENED TO MY 99 EXPEDITION WITH THE 5.4.

This ios only one of them many sites complaining about it..

One guy even started a company to remedy this problem

A navigator 5.4 would be an all-aluminum, DOHC model though (same thing they stuck in the '00 Cobra R).

Not your standard SOHC 5.4.

The one I have in my truck is the DOHC 5.4 aluminum heads. He can do what he wants but jst look up about motor..

ive heard of problems with the 4 spark plug threads ford used, but most of those complaints were with SOHC motors. the heads i have now have the 4 threads, not the 8 threads used on 03/04 4v heads. seems like im ed if i do, ed if i dont.
