Need 1980 f150 wiring diagram

1980 f150 4X4 351M auto. Wiring is a huge mess melted and taped up wires everywhere. I think I can save it though, just need a bit of help.

Is the 1979 harness similar at all? I've got one to compare with/hack away at.

I beleive the 79 is different but i do have the wiring diagrams that can be scanned in for the 78-79 f-series from the haynes manual It came with the 78 F150 long bed 2wd i picked up with 400M

My diagrams only go back as far as '83. They might be similar, they might not. What part of the truck is the mess? Dash? Underhood?

underhood mostly by the looks of it, haven't looked up under the dash yet though. After looking around online I think the 80 harness is specific for that year only. Right now i'm mainly looking at the charge circuit, It looks like the voltage regulator is bypassed for some reason which explains why everything starts smoking when the alternator is turned on for a couple minuites.

Thanks guys, maybe I'll check the library for a manual and photocopy the diagrams.
