New member/car October 01, 2007, 08:48:38 PM Hello all, I had a '97 v-6 untill a retarded lady in an import decided to park in my trunk. I have a family memebr in Pa. with this '88 5.0. I got it for 500.00 I will post pics soon, after I give her a bath. It has 96k miles. One owner ( I got all the dealer paperwork, key chain and paperwork since) garage kept car. I flew up Saturday and drove her straight through (16 hours) on Sunday. Talk about wham bam thank you ma'am...OK, don't laugh at my poor dirty bird...I know squat about this car and it's potential. I am not planning anything major anytime soon. I am currently restoring my '66 mustang and that is all my marriage can stand:D What should I do with it to give her a little more power/handling/braking? For example on my '97 I added underdrive pulley, computer chip (Ford chip), K&N, 1 step cooler plugs, J-Mod on valve body, H&K springs, Tokiko shocks and 2004 mustang front brakes. Any cheap mods for this one? Thanks for your ideas. I have to go know, I'm hearing voices...sounds like my 351W in the garage is trying to crawl under the hood of that 5.0... Quote Selected
