Hey All,
New here and just wanted to say Hi. I have two cougars an 85 and 86 for the last few years. The 86 was totaled with minor front end damage and the 85 was given to me after letting a friend store it on my property for 4 years. The plan was to fix the 86 which has a 5.0L in it with the 85 parts BUT I just bought a 84 T bird with 77,000 miles on it from Florida for $600!! Car is in awesome shape! It's been zeibarted and has no rust totally solid just had to bleed the brakes, change window motor, fluids, ect. It has the original cap,rotor,wires and plugs I think! The wires are stamped 1984 motorcraft!!

I'd like to put the hood with the scoops on it and the bumper cover with the fog lights also. What are these off from or were can I get them aftermarket if available?

I love this body style and will keep this bird forever. Not to brag but I got three 83-88's for $900. I will be at the ford show in PA in 2008

Welcome .The scooped hoods are from '87/'88 Turbo Coupe Thunderbirds.I've seen them from $50.00 to 425.00.Just have to look around and you'll find one.They aren't too hard to find.As far as the bumper covers,I'm really unsure.Someone will chime in that can help with that.

To have the fog light bumper cover you need to find a 83-86 Turbo coupe bumper cover. Then you'll want the fog light brackets too.
