question about some wheels Reply #1 – September 19, 2007, 10:07:37 PM They should physicaly fit but probaly have a weird offset. Most FWD wheels are positive ofset, where as RWD cars have a negitive offset Quote Selected

question about some wheels Reply #3 – September 19, 2007, 10:15:49 PM So sorry claude, I forgot that they are 114 MM. I was told that they were 4x4.25. Supprised you didn't even comment about how I was correct in the offset comment Quote Selected
question about some wheels Reply #4 – September 20, 2007, 07:33:36 AM I'm not sure about the diameter of the hubs, either. Wheels have to correctly fit a car to be safe.I ran wheel spacers on all four corners of my '96 for over two years. I never had any problems, but I've heard horror stories about aftermarket spacers.Simply put, it's best to find wheels that correctly fit the car.I have seen '99+ Cougar wheels on a Fox four-eye Thunderbird, however. Supprised you didn't even comment about how I was correct in the offset commentCongratulations! You were 50% right. That would get you an F in school. Ho-ray for an F.Try and think before you post. Are you sure of your answer? Pretty certain? Guessing? Pulling it out of your hindquarters? It's nice to be the first reply to a technical question, but a wrong answer is worse than not replying at all. Quote Selected
