The Back window on the cougar compared to the tbird was the problem. Doing a vert to a bird of that body style was not something they decided to follow through with but thats not to say another company didnt do the vert bird either.I guess you could say in short, they were not satisfied that they could keep the bird looking like a bird with respect to the back window after the top was up.Larry also mentioned that he remebers doing the cougar verts but not directly for any one dealer. He also said there are really no records available to support any info on how many were done.Also,,, no they are not interested in doing any more verts or kits on these cars. That would call for refering to information / drawings / data that they no longer have. Parts are probably out of the question as well. Quote Selected

It was #56 (I think that's what it was) of the collection. The guy wanted $1,800 for it and when I called him about it, he was asking me questions about it, and said that because of my knowledge of the Cougars, he'd give it to me for $1,500.
