We plan to move to the new place

be the end of this week. Once we move, I'll not have home phone or internet for a few days, because the phone line is down because of a tree that came down during a storm a few weeks ago. My y brother in law needs to remove some more trees in the front yard, so we aren't hooking up the phone line till he is done.

We've been getting stuff packed and ready to move. So yesterday, we were outside getting things done, and guess who sprains her ankle??

Now I can't stand for very long, and can't walk very easily, as the muscles going up the side of my leg are strained too. Just friggin great.

So, now I can't really do anything unless I can sit down. My house is a disaster because of going through stuff and getting rid of the things we don't want. My kitchen needs cleaned because I've had at least 4 extra teenage boys at my house everyday for over two weeks. They were just coming and hanging out with my boys everyday, which is no problem, and now they are helping us pack and will help us move too. However, trying to keep up on the house while having to feed 6 teens, my husband, my daughter and myself, has really put a strain on the place. Now, I can't stand long enough to get my dishes done.
My mom is coming this afternoon to help me out. She's going to clean my kitchen for me and help get dishes and such packed.

BTW, yes, I have asked the boys to clean, however, telling them to do it, and them actually doing it are two different things.

So, anyway, I can't wait to get moved even though I hate packing and unpacking. The house we are moving into is bigger, so I look forward to having more space. But, I will be pretty much useless for helping with the move.... can ya tell this sucks? LOL

Hope the move goes well. Maybe you should get some motivation for those boys so they will do more of your work for you. Teen boys tell them you know some chicks that want to hang out but you won't tell them until they get done with the work. When they are done tell them you have recolection of that conversation.

i hate moving with a passion. probably because of how many times i've used my ranger to do it because i'm a cheap ass and didn't rent a truck. the last couple times have been better because my wife made me rent a full sized u-haul. we're in the market to buy our next house now, and you better believe i'm DONE. i'm hiring movers this time.

Yep, you are right Alex, it's that house I showed you.... it's about 2 miles up the road from where we live now. But we'll have a full house instead of an apartment.

put those boys to work! refuse to feed them till they get the work done
