The biggest difference in the setup between it and a 5spd is the boost is cut down to help save the tranny. Being a 84 is should have the C3 tranny. Quote Selected

We need to start getting part numbers from them though. I *think* one has to remove the lid, then remove the bottom plastic liner, and then the number is embossed or stamped in the underside of the lid. I do know that 1983 console lids carry a different part number than 1984-up (the taller lids) and physically they do look a little different. Otherwise I can't really say what was right or wrong, and what appeared when. Quote Selected
