Stinger Performance Tail Pipes Reply #15 – August 24, 2007, 09:50:13 AM Good deal on the drive! Now you can trust her a lil more! I can't wait until these tail pipes are available, I'll probably run dumps until September when we can buy them!I think I am going to email Stinger and show my interest in these tailpipes. Anyone else interested should do the same! Might help to build their confidence in producing these. Quote Selected

Stinger Performance Tail Pipes Reply #17 – August 24, 2007, 03:02:43 PM last night we got everything straightened out with my exhaust and removed those nasty tail pipes that the crooked shop here lenghtened then we got started with a fresh pair of tails. the mustang tails fit alot better than I expected they would and the only real changes that needed to be made were to the length and hangers. From what Shannon told me these should work on all of the other models as well as cougars. Overall I'm very pleased with the way that they came out and I think alot of you will feel the same. Stinger Performance Tail Pipes Reply #21 – August 24, 2007, 04:39:02 PM My question is will they be different sizes or one standard size? Like I have 2.5" but say Claude ( just an EX) might have 2 1/4 inch. Quote Selected

Stinger Performance Tail Pipes Reply #24 – August 24, 2007, 05:39:56 PM they are doing a 3" as well but only for the drivers side. for the dual setup they will be in 2 1/2 only I'm not sure if he is going to have them done in stainless or not we talked about many different things, he also said something about doing them in plain aluminized pipe and letting you add the tip of your choice Quote Selected
Stinger Performance Tail Pipes Reply #25 – August 24, 2007, 05:41:08 PM Any talk on prices. Last I saw, a flowmaster aluminized set of stang GT tails was like ~$110 from summit Quote Selected
Stinger Performance Tail Pipes Reply #26 – August 24, 2007, 05:44:44 PM price will be discussed when they return from the supplier. as far as the hangers they might be upto the buyer due to the different styles on the different years of birds Quote Selected
Stinger Performance Tail Pipes Reply #27 – August 24, 2007, 05:49:08 PM Yeah the 87-88's have different hanger placement than the 4 eye's. Plus only the 88 v8 cars had passenger tail hangers. I know 5 speed 88 tc's had passenger hangers.. but I dont know about the 5 speed 87's. Quote Selected
