I can't remember the last time I bought a Ford (or Mustang) magazine.
It seems like every other page is a full-page ad for clear taillights and hoods for Mustangs. Reading a new issue is just like deja vu. It's the most redundant .

Somebody needs to publish a non-Mustang Fox magazine. Everything from Fairmonts to Turbo Coupes. The content would often be lacking, so I suppose it could be a quarterly publication to make it fatter.
Who's in on this?  :fart:

I heard about that over on TF...

Yeah, I haven't subscribed to MM&FF in a couple years now. It's not worth $35 a year.

Right now I'm getting 5.0 Mustang mag, unfortunately until like 2008 (I dunno how that happened), and there is really nothing worth reading in there anymore. A bunch of S197 tech articles, features on a couple megabuck race cars and show cars, and that's it. It sucks.

Hell, my Hot Rod subscription is apparently running out after next month and I don't even know if I'm gonna renew that. Hm.

I have',t read that rag in years. After the first few issues I read I realized it was goint to be the same $h|t every month and gave it up. Seriously, How many different ways can you paint a mustang? How many different ways can you build a carbed 351? Hatch back vs square back, yadda, yadda, yadda. I haven't seen a mustang in 15 years that made me really stop and look.

Hemming's Muscle Machines
Hot Rod
Car Craft
Popular Hot Rodding
GM High Tech Performance
High Performance Pontiac (One of the best mags, their shootouts rock and they cover all years of Pontiacs)
NAMDRA (AMC drag racers)

Are the good magazines that show up in my mailbox. MM&FF does too, but it runs out any day now. I have them all in a box to give away. I hate that rag.

Every once in awhile I'll pick up a Ford Builder. They've had 3 TC's and some other neat stuff. Not enough for a subscription, yet.

Popular Hot Rodding is one hell of a good magazine, I would choose it over any magazine.

PHR has been very good the last few years. The orphan is the most original project car in forever. And I *love* that they are doing a Fairlane instead of ANOTHER Mustang. Nice to see some fresh Fords.

agreed. i was a loooong time subscriber to super ford. as soon as 5.0 bought them i dropped the subsrciption.

i have a subscription to PHR right now, but lately they have been boring me with too many drag/pro-street cars. they brag on being the only g-machine rag, and for a while they were pullin it off, but lately its jus not there.

ya read that a few days ago, was going to post something, but got distracted by things that matter. They actualy sold that car like 4 or 5 months ago. I gess they where just sitting on this story untill they had a page with out a fox coupe or another new mustang with 20" wheels ;)
the whole first page of that story was a slap in the face FOR THE 2.3t guys! so they can go to hell for all I care. last time I get there publication!

I dropped my MMFF subscription a few years ago and haven't picked up a copy in over a year.  Any tech/cars/builds that I'm interested in can be found on the net.

I do like what what PHR is doing, but too much chebby shiznit to keep me interested.
