Something to look forward too....

So Im trying to acquire a 2.3 out of an 89 stang from my teacher, im trying to talk him into letting me have it. Its a donor car which is why there is a conflict, they arent supposed to give anything away, everything is supposed to be trashed, and I have looked this car up and down. Got the new Clarion 3 1/2"s out of the dash, he said those were fine to take. we took the 2.3 out today, and Im trying to figure out a way to as he put it "make it disappear when its sitting outside". My friends said they'll help me put in the bed of my truck. SOOOOO

What to do with a 2.3???? I wanna turbo this !

Its easy to "make things disapear" outside of schools.....
make sure you have a buddy with a walky talky up near the road watching for cops, and a place to hide. They may drive by and get the wrong idea...

when you're loading it up, just act like it's already yours and you have every reason in the world to be taking it.  aside from that... it's very easy to turbo an n/a motor.  check out turboford for all the info.

No the my instructor said I could have it, he just cant give it away. I asked him if it disappeared from outside then what would happen, he said "I wouldnt know a thing." There are like 2 cops in this town, they wont see or even care, its a school mostly dealing with cars, or farm equipment. Motors are always going somewhere. My buddies are all gonna help me once we take it outside. Anyone need an Auto for a 4cyl? It had a floor shifter, thats my next project, But im pretty sure they cut the cable to get the tranny out.

This thing will be rebuilt, it looks like it has sat for awhile. I removed the exhaust manifold to cut the exhaust off after where it bolts up and then put it back on, the head is clean. The water pump had alot of deposits in it, coolant looked clean. Tranny fluid was perfect. I dont know if there is oil in it. But i want to tear it down NOW.

Also, there is no wiring with it. It was hacked before we got to it, so I just saved the connectors on the engine and cut the rest away.

HAHA Claude. It was pretty bad. I got the jist of it. That tranny is in good shape from the look of it, but I never drove or heard the car running. It was missing the front clip when I got to school here. I learned alot about engine removal the last few days. Especially that this car only wanted the engine/trans out, and wanted to create on hell of a mess. We had puddles of every fluid except oil. Gas line snapped when a buddy was underneath the car. U-joints would come out, someone rounded off the bolt heads.

Im gonna try and buy a 4 eyed bird, its a 3.8 or 5.0 im sure, and it will get this most likely or a 351 i have.
