Turbo is here :D August 09, 2007, 06:37:33 PM Hey guys, The friend of mine that does International truck engines for trade shows called me up today to see if I still wanted the pair of turbos he had promissed to give me a couple of years ago. You bet I do... :D I went over to his shop and he gave one of them to me. The other one had been packed into a crate to be moved to his new shop, so when he unloads that crate, he'll give me the second one. They are for a 360cid I6 truck engine. If I read the numbers right, the A/R is 1.32. The intake turbine housing says AirResearch T04. He is also giving me alot of the intercooler tubing to work with. He would've given me an air-to-air cooler too, but they are waaaayyyy to big to fit into my Bird. Oh well, at least I can start making the brakets, s and such.John Quote Selected

Turbo is here :D Reply #5 – August 09, 2007, 07:29:46 PM Not quite sure what you mean 32Vfoxbird. If I can get some pics taken, I'll post them. It's not an overly large unit though. I just looked at it agin in better light. I misread the A/R #. It's 1.32 not 1.62. any ideas as to where i can find out those numbers you wanted?? Quote Selected
Turbo is here :D Reply #6 – August 09, 2007, 07:32:09 PM there should be an a/r # on the intake housing, and exhaust housing. you can measure the blades with a ruler. Quote Selected
Turbo is here :D Reply #7 – August 09, 2007, 07:36:51 PM The a/r # was only on the exhaust housing. I'll take a ruler and get some measurements and post em.Yes gumby, I'll post some pics :( LOLJohn Quote Selected
Turbo is here :D Reply #8 – August 09, 2007, 07:54:13 PM I thought the cummins 5.9 came with a holset? Quote Selected
Turbo is here :D Reply #9 – August 10, 2007, 07:21:03 AM Wrong brand of engine. spoogings vs. International Harvester. The engine this came off of isn't the engine used in the Dodge p/u's. It's the ones used in bigger trucks but not semi sized.32vforbird; the exhaust turbine measures 2 11/16"; Intake turbine measures 2 9/16" and the intake outlet tube measures 1 7/8" That is using a ruler. Not the best measuring device but that gets me close, I think. Quote Selected
Turbo is here :D Reply #11 – August 10, 2007, 11:37:34 AM Post up some pics.If it's a T04, then it's obviously gonna have a T4 ...just dunno which compressor side it has, T04E or T04B. Easier to tell with a pic. Quote Selected

Turbo is here :D Reply #13 – August 21, 2007, 03:43:53 PM Hey, I figured out how to post the pics. Shock :hick: Sorry the pics are rather big. I didn't realize they were so huge :( Quote Selected
Turbo is here :D Reply #14 – August 21, 2007, 09:05:19 PM Those aren't big. In my opinion, all pictures posted should be that size or larger. I absolutely hate squinting at the little 320x240 things people post.If you mean file size, yes, they could be around 20KB each instead of 70-100KB. Quote Selected
