...And then there were three

Must be a bad day for cats. I just read Mike's post about his cat before posting this. I was out in the garage working on the carburetors of that stupid boat my uncle gave me when I heard a screech and a thud. I immediately knew what it was, but didn't know which one until I went outside and found a woman getting out of a minivan bawling her eyes out and my cat Igor lying dead in the road. He was my big guy (22 pounds). Apparently the neighbour's cat almost met the same fate - they both ran into the road at the same time, but the woman in the minivan couldn't avoid Igor. He died instantly.

He was a little over four years old. I could relate very well with this cat - he was big, fat, lazy and laid back, just like me. Now I'm down to three cats (Murphy, Cigarette and Stewie).

Rest in peace, my jumbo friend...

Sorry to hear it.  I don't know what I'd do if I lost my big guy back home to a car.  He's about the same weight and lazy, laid back, but mine is orange....people call him a dog because of the way he acts.  Sorry for your loss.

sorry for your loss.  i know what it's like to lose an animal that you love.  i've never had one taken from me like that, but i'm sure it hurts just the same.  don't worry, though... you'll see him again someday.

Sorry to hear about Igor, my condolences... I know it's a rough feeling had it happen to a little dog years ago...
