Star Wars/Sci Fi Reply #3 – July 31, 2007, 01:03:36 PM LOL! I knew we had a few I'm generally nuts about all SciFi. Be it Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar, Firely/Serenity, etc, etc.I play Warhammer 40K (even have a few Tournament wins), Battlefleet Gothic, and way back (95!) I was into Decipher's Star Wars CCG. I remember the day Lucas pulled Decipher's contract, lol! All my Star Wars stuff is in a few bins in the attic, I think I might take them down for a bit and see what's in there. I even used to have a life-size cardboard cut-out of Vader :hick:Nowadays it's strictly Games Workshop stuff. Their 40K novels are AWESOME! (Ravenor and the Gaunt's Ghosts series FTMFW) I still play with the 40K stuff in the winter when the race track is frozen over :DI saw a new Star Wars game called Spaceship Battles that I might try out. I need to sneak to the hobby store :D Quote Selected
Star Wars/Sci Fi Reply #4 – July 31, 2007, 01:07:18 PM I'm into it a little, but not as much as my brother. Use to read nothing but Star Wars books. The Warhammer game is fun on the computer. Kinda like Call of Duty. Quote Selected

Star Wars/Sci Fi Reply #6 – July 31, 2007, 03:09:20 PM LOL, Warhammer 40K is a table-top wargame. You get to kick butt without getting arrested basically.http://www.games-workshop.comThe sci-fi novels is just an extension of good reading. Gotta love a good action book! The CCG game was one of the first card games out there and the only one to knock Magic of the top consistently. It went from 95 to 01? The Spaceship Battles game is apparently brand new. No building/painting required, just buy and play. Looks like clean cheap winter entertainment. Quote Selected
