Is there any way to make a gauge cluster "turn on" when it's out of the car? The reason I ask is I still have my 199 mph modded cluster that I was going to put into my 86 cougar. I just need to know how many miles are on it, as I never really got a chance to check that before I pulled it from the 86 t-bird it came out of. If there's a way, please let me know as I don't need it anymore, and would like to put it in the classifieds here, but want to know the mileage and all before I post it.

P.S. If this is the wrong place for this would a mod please move it to an appropriate forum.

im sure its as easy as applying power / ground to a couple leads for the speedo module.

about 3 dozen of us have wiring diagrams so someone should be able to lay it out fairly simple.

yeh you ask about a wiring issue... the onslaught of wiring diagrams will follow.
