Has anybody had this problem before?

Ok, I changed the Multi-Function Switch today on my car because the blinkers stopped working a while back and besides that I think it had an internal short because every time I hit the brakes, all the turn signal light would come on. I need to get a State Inspection sticker soon thats why I am doing this.

I changed it and I am still have the same problem, the blinkers wern't working, fortanatly I have the factory wiring diagrams for the car and knew what wire went where. I checked that I had power going to and coming out of the switch. Just for shiznits and giggles I moved the stalk on left blinker and the blinker lights came on, but didn't blink, I also noticed that I have feedback coming trough the brake lights, I have already replaced the flasher and that didn't fix it. Has any body run into this problem before, or knows a little more about this than an amature like me. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you may have a ground problem.

What do you mean by feedback in the brake lights? Are they staying on?

Fixed, It was a ground problem, I looked at the book and found all the grounds related to that circuit, diconnected, cleaned and re-connected. Works fine now. Thanks guys for the help :)
