A/C hook up the quest for parts

Weeeeell since the only motor I could get my hands for the 5.0 swap was a Lincoln Mark VII motor I'm also stuck with the Lincoln a/c compressor, the problem is that when the motor was pulled the manifold that connects the lines to the a/c compressor was removed....

So my question is does anyone happen to have a 1990-1992 Lincoln ac setup they'd be willing to part with?

If not will a mustang a/c compressor bolt up to a lincoln a/c bracket?
1987 Tbird 5.0 swap, go fast mods coming soon....

What manifold? What parts are you actually trying to track down?

I believe he is referring to the part of the compressor that the hoses attach to... It just bolts down with one bolt on most compressors and is sealed with "O" rings... And yes I believe it is called a manifold...

Now it will be necessary to know just what compressor it is, and likely it will have to come off a junk unit... The '86 LSC I had used a different compressor than the '87-'88 Birds I've had... They are shown in the shop manuals if someone wants to look it up and post pictures...

Compressors should swap between brackets...

I try and not waste my time deciphering the posts but others, but to reply to TurboCoupe50:

The '86 Mark VII used an FS6 compressor. Sort of like the 351W to the 302.
The manifolds interchange, but the 6P148A has a low side port while the FS6 doesn't. The FS6 setups have a low side port in the suction hose. So, one could just slap on a 6P148A manifold set and have 2 low side ports.

Thanks Jeremy...

I couldn't remember the model numbers... Too lazy to look them up... Been '02 since I fooled with any compressors(other than A FS12)......
