Speedo Pin Paint/Touchup July 01, 2007, 02:23:43 PM I've started fixing up the cluster i got from an 83-84 TC to swap into my car for the tach. But the dayglow pins color are worn down/half worn and just plain look py...Should i bother with trying to keep them with the glowing junk? Or just paint it with some touch up paint? Quote Selected
Speedo Pin Paint/Touchup Reply #1 – July 01, 2007, 05:37:41 PM you might be able to get dayglow paint at a hobby town or some hobby shop. If they do sell it they might have different colors so who knows. Quote Selected
Speedo Pin Paint/Touchup Reply #2 – July 03, 2007, 10:35:53 AM Don't put anything on that is thick... Added weight will throw off the calibration... Quote Selected
Speedo Pin Paint/Touchup Reply #3 – July 03, 2007, 02:42:23 PM Hmm, i had that lingering thought in the back of my head as well...Ugh, It's bugging me though... The needles are half yellow and half orange due to fading.I'm kind of a perfectionist. :flame: Quote Selected
Speedo Pin Paint/Touchup Reply #4 – July 03, 2007, 10:57:48 PM Any other suggestions on this?I would really like to go with a phospscent red color on the needles, But not at the cost of any calibration problems... Quote Selected
