Gotta love it.  Guy cuts up a 'vette drivetrain and shoehorns it into a civic and still gets called a ricer.

Now this is a lot of work!  I got to admire the guy taking two wrecked cars and making one.

This will go like crazy if he ever gets it done.

Ricers over here are pretty quick for the most part. And by that I mean Civics keeping up with or just barely beating my Eclipse. Mind you it does not happen often but when it does I always give them the respect they deserve.

Anyhow, that's crazy.  All of them.  Too bad the 'Lude was never finished.  That kid was only 21 too, to be that talented at 21.... amazing.

When I was a kid on of my neighbours had one of the old school Civics (mid 70's) with a small block Chevy in it. It was all done up, too - chrome engine, tunnel ram with two quads and that old-school aluminum scoop on top, tubbed, big rear tires, Cragar SS wheels, and beautiful black paint... and the engine sitting just about under the windshield cowl. It was all tube chassis with sheet metal interior. The front seats and dash had been removed, and the guy sat in the rear seat while driving it. If any of you remember those old Civic's you'd understand how small this car was - the driveshaft must have been six inches long. He drove the car on the street regularly.

And  it to hell, that car was absolutely amazing.
