Cell phone wanted

Since I broke my brand new phone burning myself on the lawnmower :hick:

I need a newer phone. My 3 year old backup phone has no #3 or #9 which is REALLY annoying. So any old GSM nation-wide SIM card unlocked (or Stinkular) phone will do. Cash is tight because of the truck's transmission :( but I have plenty to trade (used parts only). I'd buy the right phone. Nothing fancy. It has to be a phone and work with Cingular.

Anybody? :D

Shes black on black, fully loaded, with headers, 180 tstat, e fan, straight exhaust into a cherry bomb vortex ler, full tune up, ported intake and T/B, MSD coil, and round aircleaner.
Mods to come: Fully rebuilt and heavily modded 46RE, and a richmond rachet locker.

I've got a box full of unlocked 8290s, some 3390s (I think) and a couple really old school 5190s. Nothing real fancy but they work and will get you through till the cash flow improves... PM me an address if you want one. Pay me for the shipping when you get it and it works for you.

An 8290 or 3390 will work. Do they have batteries/chargers/etc?

I have like 6 cell phones around here, all with something wrong.

Motorola T725 with a dead battery
Nokia 6102i in a million pieces (the new one :( )
Siemens A56i with dead battery
2 Nokia somethings (big one that was really popular 3 years ago), 1 with a dead battery and one with no #3 or #9 :(

If any of the 6 you have are Nokias those chargers will work. I may be able to scare up a house one but can't guarantee it. May have an ear bud somewhere too but that'd be about it for accessories. I never get anything but those and the car chargers have a way of disapperaing plus I keep one in each of our 4 vehicles so the "spares" got eaten up long ago.

edit: Ok you must've been typing faster than me... ;) Any one of the Nokia chargers are ok, the 8290 and 3390 use the older "almost 2mm" style ear bud. The newer car charger should work on the older phones but I've had trouble with the older charger and my 6200 and 6230.

If it uses the standard Nokia charger I'll be fine as I have 5-6 of those now.

So it's a phone and battery? Known good? Throw up a pic and let me know how much :D

Phone and battery... I'll make sure it comes on and makes a call with my Cingular SIM before I send it. Pics tomorrow. Cost of shipping only, NO warranties - cell phones fall in the "I got too much of this stuff and am tired of looking at it" category. :D If you want a 3390 I can toss in a grab bag of covers... I bought it off eBay and never managed to resell or give away. Just a clue though, one of the covers is "Hello Kitty"....

I didn't find the box full last night and the one phone I did find isn't unlocked yet. This may take a day or so for me to dig them out of my shed where they landed when I moved....

My son has one that he says will work but he wants $20 for it.  I will bring it down on Friday and see what you think about it.
