Fila got another.... Reply #21 – June 16, 2007, 10:09:58 PM We'll know soon how bad. There IS rust in the strut tower, about 1" tall, 3" wide on teh driver side. Passanger doesn't look that bad. Also a bit on the frame. I hate to see the car go to shiznit over some rust. Is it possable to save it/patch weld to save the car? That thing needs a lot of work and you've got quite a bit on your plate already. Take what you need for the Fila (8.8, Front Brakes... ) and sell the rest. Quote Selected

Fila got another.... Reply #28 – June 17, 2007, 12:02:06 AM I keep hearing worse and worse things about rust. As of now I still have hope, but start calling parts if you want it. Stuff I want for sure is the rear, front brake setup including spindles. Rest is up. Some people have dibs on stuff but for sure no one has spoken up but Brian. Reply #29 – June 17, 2007, 12:12:41 AM honestly, if you're not going to convert to 4-wheel disc, id sell the rear end complete. your 7.5" will handle whatever YOU throw at it. my friend is running 11.02's on his with a factory t-lok, 3.73's, and stock axles! use the money to put into that fila. think of buying this car as a money making oppurtunity. if i came across the same deal, id part it out. $100 is WAY cheap, when you can make close $2,000 off of it parting it.
