if the motors out then it should be easy, if not Im not gonna make you work hard to get them out. It would be nice to get the lines going from the calipers to where ever they go, and the 2 lines from the M/C that run along the K member. I am interested. Let me know.
I wish I could give you a better description but i have so little room under the car, and Im not sure where they all run!

Welcome to the world of cars.  You think you've got it figured out, then you get pushed back into the mud.  It'll be worth it when it's done!

I hope so.... Theres so much heavy scale rust on the rear suspension and axle, I need to go and check it good soon to make sure its all safe. I swear if this car goes to the inspection station and they fail it for something I cant fix, I will burn it. I will strip all the good parts and burn the rest, BURN IT TO THE GROUND!

Do you still need fuel lines?  I have had a set of Lincoln lines for nearly two years sitting in the trunk of my SE.  I forgot why I even got them.

I dunno my axle is pretty rugged lookin. :hick:  Definitely check over load-bearing points but I mean just from the cameraphone pics you posted if you're worried about the axle and control arms being rusty, don't. Well unless SOMEhow the control arms are rusted to the point of them almost being non-existant! That would be impressive. lol

more worried about the point were they bolt to the frame. Torque boxes they are called i believe.

CougarSE- I have a rust free set that had the quick connects cut off, so i was gonna just splice the nylon line and use the quick connects i have. I would love to have a unmodified set, but they are hard to ship, and im strapped on cash.

Well got one front line replaced, both new front calipers in, fuel lines in, got the one that blew out, but I cant get the fittings out of the distribution block....... these lines are such a BITCH to replicate.....

Plus, I kneed my fender when i was under it and heard a CRUNCH. Get out and find i broke a SLAB of bondo someone slaped on the fender. So i start breaking it off, and find a shiznitty ass patch panel someone did and bondoed over... So I now will also begin body work..

Got one new line all bent up, but I cant install it because I cant get the fitting out of the distribution block under the M/C..... The fittings striped off, and I cant get the lines off the top of it to remove it and use vice grips.... Stupid northern rot box.... and F ford for making it soo  packed on the side of the motor....
Hopefully buying a new distribution block and the lines to connect it to the M/C so i can chop this one out.

Replace the rotted front fenders, don't fix them.Man,I wish you were near.Theres a REALLY nice Mark VII about 40 miles from here at the yard where I got the diff a couple months ago.Pretty darned complete except for the engine and tranny (and computer). It's a dark grey with the cool mesh style wheels.I still need to get the center caps and a few other little bits from it that are hard to find.I really don't know what that would be,though.I'll try to grab the calipers, and a few more things.I'll check Ebay and see what's selling. If you were close, you could probably snag the front fenders for $50.00 or less.
