We took the valve covers off my friends 390 in his 74 F100. He used Pennzoil up until that moment, he had heard it did that, and once he saw it he freaked. He cleaned it all up and started using Castrol or Mobil 1 I cant remember, but when he tore down the engine to start his rebuild it was still clean. He experienced alot of bubbling while using Pennzoil too, when he pulled the Distributor.

More Progress!

Everything is In!

I removed the A/C Like I said I was going to :hick: Cleaned up that plate and hacksawed off the part of the plate that held the A/C.    A lot of work to just get rid of part of the plate, but it was worth it!

Also, we bought a Throttle Cable to the pedal. Looks just like the Lokar Cable but is from another Brand. Works great!

The Fuel line is hooked up (high pressure pump bypassed) and flows great!

Distributor is hooked up.

All we need to do now is connect a few wires and tighten on the Valve covers.

Should be firing it up tomorrow, everybody cross your fingers! Hahaha :]

Oh, and you know I am going to be posting video once it's running! But for now these pics I just took are going to have to do to hold you over.
