1988 Cougar LS; Winterized 23/12/07 Reply #3 – May 17, 2007, 01:39:28 PM Thanks, I have to buy a capacitor for it though. When the bass draws my lights dim. Then to a 3g alternator, then maybe I'll buy some 12"s. Quote Selected
1988 Cougar LS; Winterized 23/12/07 Reply #4 – May 17, 2007, 02:11:21 PM Nice Cougar. Always nice to have another Canadian cat owner around. I'll tell ya what that car needs more than capacitors, 3G alternators, or bigger subs, though:Wheels. Those 14" spoked hubcaps gotta go :hick: Get yourself some nice 10-holes or turbines. It'd look like a whole new car Quote Selected

1988 Cougar LS; Winterized 23/12/07 Reply #13 – May 20, 2007, 11:26:16 PM Is your car the same colour as mine? Also what colour should I paint the Turbines? Do they come stock on certain cars or is there a brand manufacturer? Quote Selected
1988 Cougar LS; Winterized 23/12/07 Reply #14 – May 23, 2007, 11:59:25 AM The Turbines came original on the 88 XR-7's and the Mustang GT's. If you search enough you can even find the Cougar center caps like are on mine. I'm running BF Goodrich 235/60's on mine which help give it a wide stance. I kept mine the standard silver color that most turbines come in. Quote Selected
