You painted the door handles nice. Looks really good. Did you completely smooth the bird emblem?

You do all the work yourself?  If so what kinda gun did you use?  I've heard the HVLP (with top mounted canister) deliver a lot better results.

Definitely looks better than the flat black!! You paint the car right where it's sitting???????? If so, how much dust particles or bugs did you get in the paint?? I'm going to paint my car in my garage as I can't find a place to rent a booth from around here. I too have a Cobalt HVLP gun. Haven't used it yet though. I had a Deville Bliss JGA502 but someone like it better than me :( It wasn't a HVLP but it was darn good.
Love the way your car turned out!! Be very proud of your work!!

Sweet! That looks awesome. I thought about painting my car myself when the time comes but am afraid it will look horrible. Did you spray it outside or just move it out for pictures?

I'd leave the bumper trim white though. I like the monochromatic look.

Those are nice. We use one for primer. Gravity fed guns spray alot better, because there is always an equal amount of material flowing through unless you are running out.

I Like the smooth emblem!!!!!:birdsmily:
