GT finally gets Ferrari's!! ! Now I have to go buy a PS3. :(

I LOVE GT4, I have the settings turned for maximum "actuality" and the car selection pretty awesome.

I have been playing a lot of NFS Most Wanted and Carbon lately. Both good games with lots of tuning but horrible arcade-style driving models.

I can't wait for a GT game to be on PC. Then I could really rock the house!

AMEN brotha!!

BTW, has anyone ever raced the TVR Speed 12 from GT2...that sumbitch IS TEH shiznit!

Nothing, and I mean nothing (not even the much-vaunted Pikes Peak Escudo) will touch that car....IF you can drive it in the corners...

It's everything, and then some.

PS, the Dodge Concept Car  LM Edition is also pretty bad-ass, too...great handling, and decent power...I use it to win against cars with twice the power...

GT has always been biased towards imports. Meh.

bhazard, thats because the development team IS IN puppiesAN.  And when they made the first GT, they never expected the game to become so big in the states; it was intended for the puppiesanese consumers.  But over the iterations, they are slowly but surely putting more and more domestics in.  It's not bias, it was just originally directed towards a different consumer area.

@oldraven:  I played GT: HD the other day and it is AMAZING.  That Ferrari is AWESOME with assists turned off...I can drift that thing like a pro.  And the graphics.... *drool*

I'm kinda a current fan of PGR3. Got it with my 360 and never loooked back. Got a few bitchin fords and I'm happy. GT$ is still cool though. From time to time i even play GT and GT2

I like PGR3 as well, it's cool.  But that isn't a sim so GT fills that void.  And GT Legends/GTR2 of course.  :)

bhazard,
You'll like GT4 then. It has FAR more American cars then the other ones and quite a "range" as well. From the top of my head, 70 Chevelle SS 454, 69 Charger HEMI, 67 Cobra 427, 65 Shelby GT350, 04 GTO, 04 Z06, 05 Mustang GT, 00 Cobra R, 99 SHO Taurus, 87 Buick GNX, 67 Cougar XR7, 02 Camaro SS, and quite a few others I'm forgetting.

The best sleeper in GT2 was the Mazda 323F. Maxed out it will beat vipers around the road courses.

And domestics have been getting much more common over the years. I just so happens that most domestics in the games are muscle cars. You aren't going to beat many ITR's or RX7's with a Grand National around a track.

Yeah but muscle cars are what we want in the game, so I can live with that.  :)

Maybe they'll have a fox Tbird or Cougar in GT5!  Hahaha hey, I can hope!

I'd have a stroke if a 87/88 TC ended up in a GT game!

Yeah, IF that ever happened, I'd bet it'd be the 87/88 TC.

Oh, and you'll never see GT on PC. It's a Sony exclusive for a reason. Half the people who buy Playstations do so so they can play the new GT.

GT5 is the only reason I REALLY want a PS3 right now.  There are a few other good games, but not to the extent of GT5.  I'm glad you brought that up, raven, cause I forgot to mention that myself.  Sony has exclusive rights to Polyphony Digital.
