Roller Block?

I was wondering if the 84 Cougar has a roller block or a flat block?

any help is appreciated thanks!

Didnt they start the roller blocks in 86?

In Birds and Cats the roller block started in '86. Basically if it's SEFI then it's a roller. I've yet to see a factory non-roller SEFI 5.0. On the other hand the 4bbl HO Mustang with a manual trans got a roller block in '85.
