93 cobra rear VS tc rear May 02, 2007, 07:51:01 AM Now i know that we've figured out that the 93 cobra rear is the same as th 87-88 TC rear(axles,brakes,length etc).My question is: I know the 93 cobra did not have abs but are the axles the same diameter(bearing surface)as the TC rear??Wondering this because i want to swap my abs rings onto a set of new moser 93 cobra 5lug axles and i don't know if it can be done.Moser's catalog lists some kind of abs adapters for the 94-04,will these adapters be the same,do i even need adapters???Does anybody have a set of TC axles with the abs rings removed to check if the there is some kind of adapter at this point or if the axle is straight all the way along??? 93 cobra rear VS tc rear Reply #3 – May 02, 2007, 03:06:36 PM the ones i have are still on the axles. i'd call moser and ask them to be sure. they should be the same diameter as the stock axles as long as they are 28 splines. the mosers do not neck down like the stock ford axles.as far as selling the rings, i don't have a press so you would have to pay to have them removed, plus a few dollars for them and to ship them. i don't think it would be worth it, your call. 93 cobra rear VS tc rear Reply #4 – May 04, 2007, 01:21:30 PM K how much where you looking for ,for the complete axles????I don't really need them but i called moser and they said i have to send them my axles for them to make me new ones so that means my car would be down over 2 weeks(don't like that).I figured if i buy your axles and have you send them to moser(i will pay the shipping)instead of me ,then they can measure up those axles and remove the abs rings for me and install them on my new custom axles.This way my ride will have no down time and i can just get my new axles.Let me know asap.Thanks:Chris.
