What is this plug behind the instrument cluster?

I had the instrument cluster out of my car today and noticed that there is a small, gray, two-pr0ng plastic plug on the same harness as the big instrument cluster plug in the dash. I looked at the back of the instrument cluster and couldn't see anywhere that it plugged in, but I vaguely remember that plug being plugged into something when I removed the gauge cluster a couple years ago (I don't think it's been plugged in since then).

What's that for?

Does you're car have a check engine light?

Some had a connector for the firm ride and few had one for the check engine light.

Oh wait, that's probably what it's from, the firm ride light. I pitched that light on mine and put in an '85-86 tach face. Forgot all about that.:wtf:
