In my opinion, dont run Royal Purple. Yes, its good stuff, but youll find out how many leaks you actually have. Id run Mobile 1 synthetic. Its cheaper, and youll never notice a difference between the two in a street car.

I beg to differ. My 18 second daily driver pickup dropped 3 tenths in the 1/4 mile and gained 2-3 MPG. The change intervals have also been extended. I see identical results in John's DD GTO, the g/f's DD Grand Prix GT, and my neighbors DD Explorer.

Hmm, I can see them don't know why you can't. Sorry about that.
Anyway, that round cylindrical thing attached to the front of the throttle body is the IAC. It is held on by 2 bolts. Remove it and then take off the lower cylindrical part that is held in by two screws. The top half is what gets cleaned out. Use a q-tip as well on the inside for easier cleaning. You'll see what I mean when you take it apart.

The PCV valve is located in the rear center of the lower intake manifold. It is right behind where the upper manifold is bolted to the lower. There is a thick rubber hose that connects to a spot on the bottom of the upper manifold to the PCV valve. Get a flash light and lean over the center of the car and you'll see it. Burrowed in the lower manifold under the PCV valve is the screen. It is nearly impossible to get out unless you grip it with a set of needle nose pliars.

I have a BIIIIIIG problem its leaking gas from the passenger side front, and i can't tell from where. Im just glad all this time ive had no problems. I have no CLUE where its coming from, but that explains why i smell gas all the time. Well im off to jack it up and investigate. F me!

It's okay, probably just a poor connection in the fuel line or a leaky/ not properly seated injector.
Start at the top and follow your fuel lines down, you'll find it.

Found it, its the fuel lines, right in the passenger side fender where the metal lines go, they are all rusty and thats where its coming from. How am i gonna fix that? i can't use rubber fuel line there can i? And this explains why it seems like its starved for fuel must have been getting massive amounts of air in the line.

Go to the salvage yard and find a Mark VII,V-8 T-Bird/Cougar,or a Mustang (V-8),and get the lines you need. You'll need a special dis-connect tool to remove them.Don't try it any other way.You can get the tool at any parts store. They come as a set and are pretty cheap.Don't use rubber hose !!! Do it right the first time.If you can't get it done right at this time, work on something else until you can.

those little tabs are 2 bucks at pep boys, so ill take them off with a screwdriver. Thank god its not solid line from the filter forward. Theres suppose to be a car identical to mine in the junkyard, i need body and interior parts from, now i guess i need the fuel lines. I guess ill find a way there this week.

Until you can get out to the wrecking yard I'd buy the spring lock coupling tool and try and take your fuel lines apart. At least you'll know what you're in for if you've never pulled apart these fittings.

And take some PB Blaster with you to the junkyard. Those fuel lines aint gonna come apart easy.

BTW, I use good ol' cheap Autolite plugs... They last forever even with an MSD.

Good to know im glad i found it now, before i had a fire or something, plus im sure the gas is eating the front air bag up...... I also found out my factory amp was cut out, and removed, and its all rigged up in the trunk. I hope when they were chopping wires, they didn't mess up any of my abs stuff, cause i have no abs right now

My buddy works at Jacksons Auto Machine, he put a 383 stroker, AFR heads, RPM II intake, worked holley 650DP, and a custom isky cam on the dyno. They broke it in on dyno oil, and made a few dyno pulls. They then drained the oil, and put in Royal Purple in it, what did they pick up? 7 horsepower. 7 horsepower on a race prepped engine, so i dont know how the hell you picked up 3 tenths.

By the way, that 383 stroker goes 11.60's in a street car on drag radials
It's Gumby's fault.

spring lock coupling tool
thats for those big fittings up top the motor, my car has these plastic lines that attach to metal lines with little plastic clips
maybe it goes into on of those in the engine compartment
