Transmission vacuum connection?

Did 1984 AODs have any sort of vacuum modulator? I got my T-Bird running this weekend, and it isn't shifting out of 1st gear. I suspect the TV isn't adjusted properly, but I wanted to see if you guys knew of a vacuum connection I'm missing.

Thanks!

Nope. Shift points and line pressure are controlled by the TV rod/cable. Their is no vacuum connection/modulator on an AOD.

Mine didn't shift from first either, the tv cable had broke and the tranny burned the clutches.A sad day.
