more fun with the cougar

so, i felt that my previous conversion thread should end so i started this one with some new vids.... i'm trying to get streetfire to play them but for some reason the sound off, so here's a few links to myspace where the videos are.....

one is like my last, just some reving
the second is a late night idiot test in the rain (i passes, i'm an idiot)
the last is an acceleration test which i think would be better if i adjusted my kickdown cable better

anyway, asside from getting a few codes figured out, she's done...... so she'll be at catjam this year... hopefully a lot cleaner ;)

Street fire has problems with the sound on the flash vid side. There is a link right above the vid window that says play with Windows Media the sound works fine there.

yes, it is.... it also has a miss that i have to figure out....  i hava a few codes that keep popping up that i have to figure out before it will do a KeyOffEngineRunning scan to fix the rich problem.... i'm only averaging 19 miles to the gallon..... the codes are 522(not in park/neutral), 542 (fuel pump secondary circuit open/ PCM-Fuel pump ground) and 552 (Secondary air bypass solenoid circuit malfunction)---i think that's because the smog is gone....  anyone else deal with these?

i'm almost ashamed to say.......... oh well, they are the thrush turbo's from advance.... if you add the $20 i paid for the h-pipe and the $25 for the factory headers, i have a little over $100 in the whole exhaust.... yes i know, but i'm poor ;)

and no, i haven't had any exhaust fume issues, even with it's rich condition, it does smell when you're in back of the car, but i haven't had any problems while driving, even with the windows and sunroof open
