FS - 200/3.3L six cylinder with C4

I know this is probably the least desirable thing anyone would want to buy, but I figure Ill throw it on the net and see if anyone by chance wants it. Its only taking up space in the garage.

Its the original 200 six out of my 81 fairmont. Has 69,000 original miles on it. Car was owned by an old lady before it was bought by my dad and we pulled the motor out and its been waiting for the cleveland since, almost two years ago. Car ran but it would die out after driving a few miles. It could have something to do with the car sitting for years before we bought it.  We put a new fuel pump from napa on it, but that didnt fix it. Did these have EGR? If so that could be it because I remember a tube coming from the manifold being rusted out and some exhaust leaking out it. Other than that I think its pretty much perfect. Has original C4 trans behind it.

I dont know how much it is really worth, but ill say $200 for the motor, and $150 for the trans, or $300 for both. Pickup only.

This engine was using in everything from Falcons and Mustangs starting in 1963 to Fox's up to 1983.

It has EGR I'm pretty sure because I can see an EGR valve in the top picture.  Sounds like that's the only problem with the engine, too.

Meh ... i just threw the thing on ebay. It needs to go.
