help Reply #14 – March 29, 2007, 11:25:01 PM *BUZZ*!!!!!!Try again.86-88 Tbird/Cougar 7.5's will not work with the Mustang axles....You can swap the entire rear axle assy from the SN-95 Mustang, brakes, housing and all if you like and have the same width axle to axle , but the axles alone will not swap into the wider 87 7.5 housing.
