If that 3.73 traction-lock 7.5" diff is complete (ring, pinion and differential carrier) I may be interested in that as well.

hows that go now?
i was working with a friend and his mustang rear end was jacked up.  I turned one wheel in the rear and the other did not move at all.  Its a 7.5 but is that called limited slip or is it trac loc?

Limited slip and traction lock are the same thing. Traction lock is Ford's brand name for it, just like Chevy uses "Posi Track" and Chrysler uses "Sure Grip". It's all "limited slip". There are different types of limited slip - Ford uses clutch plates, GM uses a spring loaded thingy (in their trucks, anyway) and Chrysler uses cone clutches. I think the last F-bodies used a torsen limited slip, which uses some kind of screw thingy.

With your buddy's Mustang, if you turned one wheel while the other didn't turn, it's either got an open rear end  or a very worn out limited slip. The driveshaft would've been turning, though...

The limited slip that GM uses in their trucks will allow one wheel to spin while the other stays put up to a certain RPM. When that RPM is exceeded centrifugal force will activate the spring loaded mechanism that pops out and essentially locks the two axles together. Very, very brittle (I've fixed countless ones).

How much for the rear bumper cover and front passenger side panel?
The junkyard wants $35 for a bumper cover and probably 50-70 for a side panel, thats a bit too much for my budget. How about the exhaust too? from the precats to the tail pipe... is it single or dual exhaust?

I'm in the Somerdale/Clementon area.

well im not sure how much shipping would be for the cover and how far you are and what side pannle are you talking about.  and if i do bother with the Exhaust it's going on my mustang. well the cat back anyway.  it's a true dual system stock stang H and mustang catback.

on another note . i may beable to keep the car. i may have found a home for it . still on unsolid ground so im not sure .

I'd just wrap 'em in cardboard and duct tape. They're iron, so even the post office shouldn't be able to hurt 'em :D
