275/60/15 BFG on a 10 hole?

I was offered a set of L60-15 BFG radial's yesterday from a freind. They are about a 275-60-15 but will they even fit on a 10 hole?

I've seen it, but L60-15 is not a radial tire specification. You sure it's a radial?

I had N50-15's on my '78 Trans Am - s were 13" wide at the tread (wheels were 15X10) :hick:

They will be used for "play" not street driven. They were used at the drag strip. I just need to know if they will fit. I mean wil they rub, if so how bad. Any idea what the stance would look like with a 215-60 on the front?

I can't find a link to the BFG's but I found M/T's of the same size here:

I'll try to snag some pice later if you guys need. They are mounted right now on a cool lookin set of turbine style wheels in 5 lug. Think Dukes of hazard style

Yep....sure will.

Ran that setup for years. Still have some M&H 275-60-15 DOT Racemasters on 10 holes. Absolutely no rubbing on a Thunderbird.

Check the photo...this was before the "Southside Stretch and Lower".

What size do you have on the front. I'm wondering how she will look as she has a bit of sag in the rear. I'm wondering if it will bring that up tp almost normal. Looks awsome by the way

A new set of BFG's,225 60 15 really don't cost that much.I bought a set for around $300.00 mounted and balanced.Spend your money on the new tires and you'll be set.Good tires, warranty, good looks. It's worth it to spend a little for quality parts (or tires).

Free tires and no job right now sounds good too. I don't drive the Fila, only play with. New tires will be BFG 235-60-15's on Turbines sometime later this spring, near CJ

I use to run 275/60/15's BFG radials on ten holes, on my '85 Cougar  looked good no rubbing except over bumpy roads with full car., or steep driveways at an angle.

Ok, thanks guys. Should have them up and on soon. Anyone got a guess what it takes to brake down 2 sets of tires off wheels and re mount them? I need the L60's off the turbines ( CV style) and the tires off the 10 holes, then the L60's on the 10 holes? I would call and ask BUT it's 10:49 and I think every where is closed

Around here,it would cost around $12.00 to $15.00 per wheel for mounting and balancing.$2.50 to remove the tire only.

The 275-60-15 will raise your car's rear by 1 inch and that should make it look perfect.

I run 225-55-16 BFG on the factory TC wheel now  (front )  and 275-55-16 M&H Drag radials ( rear )
