1995 Ford Explorer F/S March 24, 2007, 07:22:23 PM Hey all,I have a vehicle that I picked up for a few parts for my '99 Explorer, and now need to sell it. It is a '95 Explorer XLT 4-door 2WD 4.0 (OHV), missing the tranny and the A/C compressor. The body is pretty solid with no rust. The paint is pretty poor, and you can see where the passenger fender and driver's door were both swiped from another Explorer because the red paint is showing through. This truck is the fairly common forest green, with what I think is kinda rare, a green cloth interior. The seats are in pretty good shape but could use a good cleaning. It's got a few boo-boos on the exterior, and it will probably be missing the driver's front fender and front bumper. I'm told it runs; however, it can't be started because the starter mounts to the tranny, which isn't there (oh, I guess the starter is missing, too). There's a key and a "previous damage title" from Arkansas. It also has an 8.8" 3.73 LS rear axle with disc brakes. You'll have to supply at least 2 wheels if you get it, and maybe all 4 if I sell the 2 rear wheels. I'm looking for $400 OBO. I live in Madisonville, KY, zip 42431. This would make a cool trail rig, a parts vehicle for your wrecked Explorer, or an engine donor for ??? It's showing 165k on the odometer. Let me know if you're interested.
