I got bored the other day and decided to put my saleen wing on the bird, I actually like the look, just need to paint it in a few weeks.  I already know alot of you guys dont like wings on here but what the hell......  What do you guys think?

Blech. Is that a coupe/vert wing or a hatchback wing? Looks like a hatchback wing meaning it doesn't fit right anyway.

Also, I just have to ask this...why in the hell are you still running those godawful spoke hubcaps on your car?

I like it, it's not too tall and it kinda adds to the whole look of the car.  How's the fitment on the trunk though?

I personaly think it would look better on a cougar, and it might be a bit tall but it doesn't look that bad

i thought about this exact thing... meh...  im not too impressed, but with your scoop it seems to fit.  im just ganna prolly bolt on a Nascar style spoiler on the back of mine.  just like the cars on the track now (not the car of tomarrow)  you all know the body line that goes to the brim i guess you could call it of the trunk, im thinking of about 4-5 inches tall and continues that angle.  which wouldnt be very agreesive at all.

i know some people, not very well, but i might be able to get a second hand Nascar spoiler.  it'd cost tho, so i might just make one myself.

perks of going to Nascar Technical Instetute.

No it is off of my '88 LX coupe so it fits  near perfect, and as for the hub caps....  Ever hear of winter rims?  And yes I know, they have to go.
I have a set of gold turbines to go on it once I get some rubber for them, I am waiting though because I might do the 5 bolt swap soon.  Need a set of CHE control arms first so I can install my 8.8 with 4.10's

I like wings most of the time, but I never cared much for those particular ones. Like vinnie said, all that matters is wether you like it. I am curious about that cougar in the background on your first picture. Is it yours?

I'm split. I don't think it looks too bad but it is not fully in character with the smooth areodynamic lines of the bird. However the scoop isn't in line with them either. Which is what makes it work a bit better. Dunno. If you like it, go for it. Just don't expect it to actually do anything other then style. I see it causing more drag on the rear end limiting top end speed. Of course that is only an issue if you are running the track. For which the Nascar style spoiler is a much better choice.

I don't think it looks bad. Since it's white it looks huge and a little out of place but that will surely change once you paint it.

I think it would look awesome if the car had ground effects on it.

About the Nascar spoiler, IIRC in the past (and I'm talking the 80's through early 90's) the manufacturers would supply certain parts to teams. For instance the hood, trunk, front bumper, rear bumper and I think sometimes the roof panel. In theory, the trunk supplied by Ford for the T-bird in the 80's should be fairly close to a standard production part. So if you could find a spoiler from an '87-'88 T-bird race car, it should fit decently.
