Brighter Dash Light Reply #2 – March 07, 2007, 07:40:39 PM I'm pretty sure there are 194-style LED's available in focused and diffused beam. Quote Selected
Brighter Dash Light Reply #3 – March 09, 2007, 02:45:25 PM http://autolumination.com/194.htmYou'd need to try one of the "SMT Tower" or "4- Star SMT" ones. The bulbs with a single high-flux led panel aren't bright enough (I have a couple blue ones here). Stay away from any red LED'sas the stock cluster lets little to no red light through. Green, white, blue, in that order with identical brightnesses, will be the brightest to dimmest (blue works relatively well, but needs to be ~2x as bright as my single panel LED).I have a box full of different 37/168 LED's here and will say that a brighter inverted cone LED would work near perfect. I have some greens/whites that ALMOST match incandescent but the beam pattern isn't wide enough.Camera settings the same in every picture. You can easily guess which are inverted cone, led panel, and incandescent: Quote Selected
