In memory of her... February 24, 2007, 01:14:23 PM Last night, a friend of mine was killed instantly in a car accident, after her friends car spun out of control into a pole. She was only 16 years old, and a junior and high school. Its things like this that make me value my life so much............ Its just not fair that a beautiful young girl like her, could just be killed..... Quote Selected
In memory of her... Reply #1 – February 24, 2007, 03:21:11 PM That sucks....I feel for you. I have a friend who was tossed out the sunroof of his own car that his friend was driving. He's the nicest guy in the world and now....will probably never walk again. I'm friends also with his brother and he took it pretty hard. I almost lost 2 friends that night...one to the accident and one by his own hands. Quote Selected
In memory of her... Reply #2 – February 24, 2007, 03:23:16 PM I feel for ya man, I've been in the same place you are at now. Had a friend from childhood that got killed in a car accident in '04. And he was just being the designated driver for a couple friends, car full of drunk kids came over the top of a hill in his lane, and had nowhere to go. The best thing I was told about how to look at it is to not think of the bad thing that they passed, but to instead remember the good times you had with them. Sorry to hear about it though, that just sucks when someone is taken so young like that. Quote Selected
In memory of her... Reply #4 – February 24, 2007, 03:48:04 PM thanks guys it means a lot, she didn't deserve to die like that. Itshiznit a lot of people really hard. The driver from what ive heard was her boyfriend, and hes a mess emotional, but fine other wise. He wasn't drunk, and from what ive heard driving the speed limit, just lost control. Quote Selected

Reply #6 – February 24, 2007, 06:06:10 PM I feel for you too bud, I've had more than my share of friends/family killed in car accidents, its a hard thing to get through but like what vemon_cat said dont think about how they passed just remember the good memories that you had with them and stick to your friends for support. this is a good place for support, everyone here gave me so much support when my uncle passed. and I thank every one of them. hang in there bud Quote Selected
In memory of her... Reply #7 – February 24, 2007, 06:14:35 PM thanks man, what sucks is i didn't really know her that well, but its on of those things where you don't tell the person your feelings, and then something happens keeping you from ever being able to express them. Quote Selected

In memory of her... Reply #9 – February 25, 2007, 08:09:11 PM Went to her mass tonight, never seen so many people i knew crying at once. I was so happy to be done with drivers ed 1 step closer to driving, and now i don't know what its gonna be like getting behind the wheel. And i may never drink again. She was killed because the driver was drunk, at least thats what i heard. School is gonna suck tomorrow. 16 is to young man, she was going places, she was a straight a student, was into alot of sports, but she had her share of partying. I still can't believe shes gone forever....... Sorry i needed somewhere to vent at the moment. Quote Selected
In memory of her... Reply #10 – February 25, 2007, 10:53:23 PM Things like this makes me think why i cant drive fast, drunk, or recklessly....It doesnt matter if got killed alone in a car accident....it matters for the people who loves/cares about you. They got destroyed with the loss of their loved ones, so every time im going to drive a car with people, i think how much their families want them in their houses back, so that stops almost every stupid thing i planned to do.... Obviosly this doesnt apply when someone stupid is in the wheel of the other car. Every time mom says "be good and drive carefully" i reply "I`m going with God. If i cant return, its because i stayed with him...."Sorry for your loss man, be strong... Quote Selected
