Rear ??

If I understand correctly.A 85 TC has the same 8.8 rear as the stangs,I just found one in the J yard.

The only TC's that got 8.8" rears were the '87-'88.  The '85 will have a 7.5" with probably 3.45:1 gears and traction-lok.

You did not understand correctly. ;)

What you probably meant to understand that the 7.5 in an 85 TC has the same width housing as the 8.8 in the Mustangs.....

Is the spare tire/wheel in it?

Also,  I remember reading years ago that some 86 TCs  came with the 8.8.
Only 5 speeds??
Was it a mid year production?

Back in the day when you could roam JYs freely, I used to look under 86 TCs for a 8.8.

I'm going back tommorrow,Rod its at harry's in allentown.It was pretty intact last week,I took the console and dash bezles.It had four wheels and tires still on it when I left.Neglected 10 hole,I think,with good rubber.It had a tan interior still intact,seats were  leather not in good shape.I" get pics.

Hmmm wonder where that one came from?? I never saw it sitting around Allentown!

What time are you going tomorrow? It's suppose to rain I think but if it's not too bad I might run out too.

Don't know what  I need but it's worth a look.

Sold the '88 TC.. the ones in my sig are my 83's.

I only have 2 now! :)

I probably will wait till saturday,The yards goin to be a mess.
