Twisted seats

I read somewhere on this forum (or a different one) about the chronic twisted seat backs. Is there a simple fix to this or is it just replacement  time. Would it be possible to just find any seat and bolt it to my existing track or would I have to stick with 84-88 fox seats?

It's replacement time.  But you can go with the SN-95 mustang seats.  The V6 seats are pretty cheap, but the GT seats are much nicer.  They should bolt up to your stock seat tracks.  Coolcats.net has a write up on it - Twisted Seats
Foxless :(

You can fix the seats... they need to be welded or something.

Sweet. Greatly appreciate it. Good thing Pick-N-Pull has a 30 day exchange policy. The seat I bought Monday is twisted also lol.:hick:

No point in welding them...try to find some 97 and new Stang seats and bolt 'em to your tracks...you'll never wanna sit in a stock Fox seat again, i promise.
Plus, the old twisted seats, if you have em welded, will still be weak pieces of ...

I got some kind of Ford Motorsport seats in mine, and I love em.
