Maybe 300HP at the wheels. The stock rotating assembly and heads are what's killing it, no compression and a chamber designed during the Korean War. That's advertised duration on the cam but it's still a decent cam. The heads are certainly holding the cam back. The intake's not helping you either.

If you want the motor to really go, you need new pistons to bring the compression. Think flat-tops. Also a set of AFR 185 heads and an Edelbrock Performer RPM Air-Gap. ALong with a Demon 780-850.

In basic terms, it's a stock motor with a set of headers and a cam.

Im looking at a 825 race demon, the afr 185s, still up in the air as to what company i want the 393 stroker kit from, and i was thinking a weiland intake. any pros or cons to going that direction that you can see, because this escort is gonna be gone soon, so im gonna start ordering a few things to put aside for when i bring her home this summer. Im gonna do it all at once, might wait on the stroker for now, but im gonna have the motor rebuilt, top to bottom, because its been sitting for about 11 years being driven and started every once and awhile so im taking no chances.

Hum i would have thought the 69 351 had around 300hp i know it was lower but i thought it was only about 15ish hp lower. I guess not.

Forget the stroker kit. Just put a set of ARP rod bolts on the stock rods, have a GOOD shop balance and blue-print everything, use high quality bearings, and spring for a nice hyperutectic or forged piston kit. Something flat-top in the 10.5:1 and up range. You'll lose a full point of compression going to aluminum heads like the AFR's.

I do have to ask in all seriousness, do even have any mechanical skill? Ever rebuilt an engine? Pulled one? A 41 year old car that's been sitting for 11 years is going to have a LOT of issues that will need to be taken care of long before it makes it out of town. Expect to do tires, brakes, brake lines, fuel lines, fuel tank, master cylinder, slave cylinder, wheel cylinders, shocks, springs, bushings, exhaust, fluids, hoses, wiring, battery, lights, rubber seals, etc, etc, etc. You're not going to be able to just get in this car and drive off into the sunset. Do you have $10K+ to restore it? Steady job? Place to store it and work on it? A car to drive to work while the Mustang's broken? A full set of tools including air compressor and sand-blasting cabinet?

I seriously think you are in way over head on a car you really know nothing about.

you have mis understood me, car has been stored in a garage, could be inspected registered, and driven the way it sits now. I have pulled motors yes, rebuilt them yes. The stroker will happen, later when the car can be just for a weekend warrior. Once i get it, it will no longer have a garage over it, but I will be undercoating the car, and getting it painted. Im just about 16 so haveing a car to drive to work, really isn't a problem yet, i get picked up for work, and only work weekends. 3 years ago the car was taken out of my garage in my old town and driven 11 hours to maryland, without a problem. I know theres some things that need addressing, but all in all it could be driven fine the way it sits. As far as knowing nothing about the car, ive been around it since day one of when my dad redid the body, floors, and the motor. I know quite a bit for a 16 year old. Cars are my passion, and there fore have learned alot about them.

A good way to up the compression on the windsor block is to have the block decked.
I put together a '75 model windsor for my bronco.  I bored it .030, hyperutectic pistons, stock mid '70 heads. Rebuilt with good bearing,H/V oil pump, small hyd cam (R/V).
Then I got all the parts back and assybled the engine. Check'd the deck height( distance the piston is down in the bore). To get the compression I desired I had to deck the block .042. That put the piston.005 out of the hole. The stock type pistons have a "D" shaped  dish  in them. So bringing the piston out of the hole helped to raise the compression and provide a GREAT qench area. making a good burn(flame travel across the piston) no hot spot. Which in turn keeps down detionation.
This motor was built for towing and is in a heavy '78 bronco. The truck has a C6 trans and a gear driven transfer case approx 35-40% loss of power thur drivetrain.  THis truck made 200 RWHP the torque was in the 300 lb ft area.
  Hope this helps

Ok, the major mods are a long ways off yes, but my dad says i should get the motor rebuilt before i turn it into my dd. At that point, knowing im not looking to spend a whole lot what should be done, besides the obvious, bearings, freeze plugs, and gaskets. I am willing to spend a little bit, like i want to switch is to a full roller set up. Im gonna start ordering parts soon so id like to know thanks guys.

The 825 Race Demon is probably overkill for the current combo.

that 825 is for a 393 stroker with afr 185 heads, eventually. the 750 on  it is PLENTY for what its running now.

Sounds like you need to either just get it running and save for a DD so you can work on the Stang. Or just get a DD first. Even if you rebuild it before your 16 or even when you are 16, you'll still have trouble with the car. Even if it was driven 11 hours 3 years ago. Letting cars sit like that is really bad for them. I had to replace the entire fuel system on my Cougar after take it out of a garage where it sat. Its not gonna be rebuild, then ready to drive. You have to break in the motor, drive it for awhile, then if it runs fine you are ok, until the suspension needs replacing. Not to sound like an ass, but its alot of work. My Cougar is back in the garage, because after sitting I need to replace alot more parts, than Daily driving will allow me to deal without.

brand new leafs out back, new bushings up front. I literally have enough faith that the car is fine it could be driven right now. A lot of the car was replaced. I will say it needs a new fuel pump (the electric one in it is so old at about 4k it starts to cut out) Im gonna see if i can get everything done over the summer. If i can't the car is gonna stay in west virgina in the garage to be worked on later. I think if i get the motor done, have it insured and register, break in the motor, and get alot more done. You'd be surprised at what i can do when i set my mind on it. Not saying i can make anything happen, but if as much is good as i think, Ill be ok. I know theres unseen problems i might find and blah blah. Ive been planing this for about 3 years, thinking about all that has to be done. My original plan was a supercharger and about 8k in suspension mods, about 650 hp for a dd. I know now thats never gonna happen, and id end up killing myself. One way or another, i will kick ass on it.
