I'd try to find another set from a bird/cougar though. They sell them new from Yearone in teh mustang catalog for about $20/set I think. Quote Selected

Reply #14 – February 15, 2007, 09:17:18 AM Black and chrome were just variants...same basic body.1987-93 Mustang handles were plastic and are pr0ne to breaking, especially on cold mornings. I can't tell you how many times that's happened to my Mustang buddies' cars. The permanent solution is to replace them with the older metal-style handles. Quote Selected
