transmission swap.

ok i have many questions.

1.  How long will it take to get this done?  from pulling it, to final hook up of like the cable pedals ect

2.  Im pretty sure about this one, but will the mustang t56 5spd accept the 87 AOD driveshaft yoke?

3.  if i get a 8.8 with sn95 axels will the driveshaft still be compatable?

4.  will i have to pull the engine out witht he trans connected, bolt up the new trans, then drop it back in?

5.  what timeframe and mods will i be looking at to get the cable clutch system and the speedo hooked up right?

6.  overall would it take more than 48 hours?

If You have all the right stuff, You finish this swap in 48hres, depending of where You make the swap, the tools You have, ect, ect...

Under the car in a snow with only a wise grip and a hammer will be a bit longer:D

Believe that these cars are all elec when it comes to the speedo. no speedo cable... its just the different drive gear...

It took me 3 hrs to get my motor out and on a stand. if that gives ya any time frame :D

The speed sensor is on the left side of the trans (driver side)...

are there any mods to the 8.8 that i need to know about.  like to accept the sn95 axels... same splines?  plus are all 8.8's traclock or would i either have to find one or build one (with tc)?  i dont think i could get the transmission out from under the car with it on jackstands in a parkinglot...  so i guess i'm ganna have to pull it.  i know a guy that wants my 302, and talkin to him he'll pay me like 150-200 ontop of a ready to put in 351 (could be W or could be C) for my 5.0so.  he's got a c-vic that he has a 4.6 in and wants to go up to a 302.  i might start talkin to him pretty hard about this b/c then i could drop the 351 in with tranny, and wire everything up.  at this point i think i'll make my own wiring harness for the new engine, figure out the guage cluster and such.  i gotta get that other engine firs though.
