what size bar is stock on the front of a 87 cat.To cold out to measure,I thought it was 3/4,want to order new bushings today.from CHE.
Old Grey Cat to this.88 Cat, 5.0 HO, CW mounts, mass air, CI custom cam, afr165's, Tmoss worked cobra intake, BBK shorty's,off road h pipe, magnaflow ex. T-5,spec stage 2 clutch, 8.8 373 TC trac loc, che ajustables with bullits on the rear. 11" brakes up front. +

On My '85 Bird is 1 1/8 too, I guess is the same for all birds from 83-88, My '88 bird (parts car) is 1 1/8 too...

It actually depends on the model. 87-88 TC's are 1 5/16. Sports and XR7's are bigger than base models too, though I don't know if they're the same as TC's

Sports are 1 5/16.  Just changed mine yesterday.

Yeah, the 20th is 33mm too (1.3") or 1 5/16" (1.312") is a close enough approximation.

Turbo Coupes, Sports, and XR7s should have a 7/8" rear sway bar. Now a 5.0 Base, LX, or GS will have a very thin bar, about 1/2" or so. If you have a 3.8 you don't have a rear bar :hick:
