what do you do for a living?

I haven't seen this question posted here yet...what do all of you do for a living?

I sell medical supplies to hospitals, clinics, businesses or alike. (I know,  :2gunsfiri boo-hiss!) :deal:

School, work and drive.
I'm a full time college student and I work in the computer operations department for a company that runs networking systems for several hospitals in the Baltimore area.
The driving part 1 hour one way commute to school from home and 1 hour commute one way to work. All in my cougar :grinno:
No wonder I lose so much money on gas.

I am a Web programer working for a division of the ever popular Bosch corporation called Rexroth. They specialize in Hydraulics and Drive systems and what not.

I develop, build and maintain coutless web based applications that connect to databases used by the engineering department, human resources department, and various departments all across the nation.

I have also been creating an Intranet from scratch (which is basically a web based application that works like a website, but can only be viewed within an internal network). This is being built for another company I also work for. This is a and never ending task and I have the misfortune of being the only person who is involved with it's development.

I repair big screen TVs for Sears... 36 years worth as of Jan 20(me and Richard Nixon started the same day). Well there weren't any big screens in '69, put a lot of tubes in 19" portables though(anyone seen any tubes lately?) ....I hope to be retiring in April.

hey I know how insulation gets, I had to glue insulation onto air conditioning ducts at the sheetmetal shop. I once had to put insulation on for the whole 8 hour day, I was one big itch.

I'm a professional bum. :p

But seriousleh.. my situation (well, all of 2004) was pretty badly screwed up for awhile, and is just now getting back to abnormal. Before that I did PC repair, but I've given that up out of frustration. Now that 2004 is over I'll be looking for something else to do. Don't know if I'm going to take up a friend on his offer to get me a job in the prison system, or find something else.. but for now I make what little money I make by selling credits on Ebay from online massively-multiplayer games. It's good for beer money and the occasional car repair.. and could be a lot more if I ran anywhere near full capacity.. but I get burned out on it really badly and can't even bring myself to go near it for days at a time. (I'm avoiding it right now)

Strangely enough, that's the condensed version.

Class B CDL, I drive a 30,000 lb semi for Great Lakes Window in Walbridge, OH. My morning usually starts around 4am, I am driving by 5 and usually at my first of 4-6 stops around 730am.

Home every day, some routes are as small as going from Bryan, OH to Defiance, OH then Napoleon, OH back to home. and some routes cover northern michigan. Starting Monday I will be going to Sarver, PA 2-3 times a week. Lovin it almost as much as being a full time father, My daughter is 4 and she is probably the only one I love more than the rides....lmao!!!

Repairing a lock cylinder that is frozen or sans keys requires a drill, gumption, and a midget on a tricycle.
