Used 302 Motor January 24, 2007, 12:54:55 PM I've got a used 302 a guy at work is interested in. Anyone know how much I should ask for the complete motor? It's in my parts car, and I've never heard it run, but was told it does, but was told it was needing rebuilt Quote Selected

Used 302 Motor Reply #6 – January 25, 2007, 04:51:58 AM Thanks for the replies. I may work out a deal to have him strip the car down for me, since there are quite allot of parts I want to keep. Like almost everything that's left on the car and let him keep the motor for all the work.TC HoodRear end (7.5" w/4.10's out of my yellow 86')Perfect/Clear 87' head lights for my 88' as well as all the other lights including tail lights.Emergency brake lines and brakes for my 4 other cats. (1, needs e-brake lines, 1 needs front brakes, another needs a rear brake line piece, and so on.)DoorsFendersAll Interior dash piecesWheelsand that's just what i can think of off the top of my head that I plan on keeping. I can store everything at my house once everyhting is apart. I figured with 4 other running cats, who knows what else I may need in the future.Once I pay off some bills, and get a driveway and very big garage put in (distant future), i plan on buying other fox cats, and maybe t-birds in the future. There are still plenty of these cars around (at least in ohio anyway) for now, but they are slowly disapearing. Guy at work said he knows of a guy selling a perfect 83' w/v-8 for $1500.00. Now that I have run out of money, fox cats seem to be popping up everywhere. Theres a 83/84 at big lots here everyday, and another at the Kroger gas station. I need to win the lottory.:D Quote Selected
Used 302 Motor Reply #7 – January 27, 2007, 03:25:45 AM I sold a pile of rebuildable longblocks for $25 a piece, I got them for free and they sold FAST, not too shabby if I may say so myself.$150-200 for a longblock is fair.Scott Quote Selected
